Good question. We are focusing on life in Ohio as we figure out where to serve next! We have friends who are doing amazing things all over the world, so part of our process is connecting with old friends (and new) to see where we might be needed to serve. So far this has involved a lot of travel… and probably more to come!
In the last four weeks, we have been in Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Houston and Guatemala. (Some trips as a family, some just one or two of us.) We have met a lot of people, organizations and ministries that we really like! Not sure if that will make this process easier or harder 🙂
Tons of time on road trips in our trusty van…
Added in one day of historical sites while in Philly for a ministry meeting…
Caught up with an old friend in Houston during an airline layover…
Not sure if these guys will be the ones we work with in the future…
Now this group of new friends in Guatemala has more potential…
Honestly, wherever we focus next, it is fun meeting others who are passionate about loving others in the name of Jesus! Although we are both by nature planners, and would prefer our direction to be known sooner, rather than later, we want to follow where God is leading, so we are *learning* to trust and (sort of) be patient in the process. 🙂 Don’t worry! We will update all of you as we know more…
