Earlier this year a friend donated a generous amount of money to build gardens at the Rosarito site which has 7 acres of land. The idea is to create a sustainable food source and provide the kids at the orphanage with fresh, healthy vegetables year-round. They do get weekly donations of vegetables but those are pretty “ripe” and don’t last very long.
We decided to start small, beginning with three box gardens irrigated by a gravity-drip system. We’ll install more box gardens as time goes by and as we take good care of the first three.
Heidi’s dad, Richard, flew down to help us build the boxes and create the drip system. He’s a good guy who knows a lot about gardening and even aquaponics.

HOLY MOLY IT WORKS!!!!!
Two days later, six gravity systems installed, compost spread,
seeds planted, and thanks given!
Holy moly, this made me cry. 🙂 So proud of ALL of you!! And grateful for your work to serve the LORD and His kids.
Awesome job!!!!
